Anjaw, Arunachal Pradesh: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Anjaw successfully
organized a live programme on the Kisan Sarthi Live Poll and CSR Conclave across three locations of the district—Khupalinag,
Tafraliang, and Hoiyiliang—to encourage active participation of farmers and gather real-time information on the prevailing agricultural situation.
A total of 45 farmers from the three villages actively participated in the
live poll and successfully completed the survey. The programme aimed to understand the current agricultural practices, challenges,
and awareness levels of the farming community, particularly in light of the ongoing rainfall deficit.
During the live poll, farmers responded to several important questions,
including whether they had already completed sowing of their crops, their awareness of the current rainfall shortage affecting
the region, and the major challenges they are facing in agriculture. The survey also focused on understanding farmers' preparedness
for the changing weather conditions and their immediate concerns related to crop production.
The programme served as an interactive platform for farmers to share their experiences and
concerns while enabling KVK Anjaw to collect valuable field-level information. The responses obtained through the live poll will help in identifying
the priority issues affecting farmers and facilitate the planning of suitable advisory services and interventions to minimize the impact of adverse weather
conditions. KVK Anjaw appreciated the enthusiastic participation of all the farmers and reaffirmed its commitment to providing timely technical guidance and
support to the farming community for sustainable agricultural development.
